We celebrate that each of us is like a rivulet coming to form a might river of UU congregants, readying for another year of learning and growing together.

How Can We Be A Community of Transformation? - Sunday, August 20, 2017

Throughout this month, we've been focusing on the topic of transformation.  Acknowledging the time we live in, the tragic events in Charlottesville, we recognize that our challenge now as a community is to be present and live our values out loud.   And be open to learning and becoming a community of transformation.  Come share your stories of transformation, hear messages of hope and action, and sing to uplift your soul.  Dinorah Sapp and Rev. Gail Stratton, Service Leaders

“What does it mean to be a community of transformation?” - Sunday, August 6, 2017

8/4/2017

“What does it mean to be a community of transformation?”   Life is about growth, change and and transformation.  On this Sunday, through story and song we will be exploring some of how we shape our own lives as individuals and also how collectively we can shape the life of the congregation.

For this service we will be adding a “Blessing of the Backpacks” as the children in our congregation head back to school, whether they attend school or are homeschooled.  Children are encouraged to bring their backpacks, bags or folders for the congregation to bless them!  Rev. Gail Stratton will be leading the service.
