What is Unitarian Universalism in Oxford all about? Old friends and newcomers alike are invited to join us Sunday, September 15th at 11 am for a service that celebrates our heritage and looks to the future we are building together. Members will share their stories and offer their visions for the future of our community. All are encouraged to linger afterwards for a light reception. Children are welcome to attend the service or enjoy children's religious education.
Dr. Josh Eyler will touch on recent research from biology and neuroscience to show how we are primed to rely on expectations to make decisions. Sometimes, however, this comes with a cost to our search for meaning in our lives.
