Whose country? Joanne Gabrynowicz will share another story of coming to America. She is the granddaughter of immigrants who both struggled and who were empowered by some of the enlightened immigration policies of their day, and by extension, so was Joanne. She says she is now an “endangered species.” A retired law professor with expertise in space law and an undergraduate degree in American and British history, Joanne has a keen appreciation of the Constitution, its roots and the meaning of “We, the People.” She will share her own story as the beneficiary of the policies that met her four grandparents when they arrived in this country in the early 20th Century.
